Link work without handing over the schedule

Use Monday business information while keeping delivery planning local.

Organisation connection

The organisation connection reads shared business information. An administrator configures its protected credential and accessible boards under Settings → Manage Monday integration. Personal connections are separate and author progress updates: see meeting updates.

From Projects choose Add work, search configured Monday item titles and select the item. Supply local stage effort, people, constraints and prerequisites. Existing jobs can use Change Monday link; duplicate linked items open their existing project.

Refresh reads Monday business context, not scheduling dates. Remove Monday link keeps the local project, stages and scheduling inputs. Cached context remains usable if Monday is temporarily unavailable.

Monday owns the job. CanYouJust owns the schedule. Monday date and timeline fields are not scheduling inputs, and calculated forecasts are not written back into them.

Configure the shared connection

Administrators open Settings → Manage Monday integration. The page separates three steps: connect the organisation, choose boards, then enable and save.

Enter a shared credential and choose Test connection. A newly entered credential is saved first, then tested. Find accessible boards lists the names and IDs this connection can read, even while integration is disabled. Use board adds an ID to the same configuration field. Enable and save after choosing the relevant boards; test again after a configuration change.

A saved credential is not automatically a verified connection. Read the status and last successful test. Invalid actions are disabled; safe server-side validation still protects a modified request. A failed connection leaves local planning available. Credentials are protected and never shown after storage.
