Connect your own identity
Open Your account, then Your Monday connection. Enter your personal Monday API credential and choose Verify and connect. CanYouJust verifies the identity and shows Connected as. The protected credential is never returned to the browser after saving.
The connection is optional. Connecting authorises the supported update workflow, including an administrator entering meeting updates on your behalf. Disconnect stops future use; an operation already being sent may complete.
Keep the meeting in context
From a Monday-linked project's business-information area choose Recent updates · Add Update. The latest twenty updates show author and UTC date/time. Reading is on demand; the organisation's shared connection is used.
- Choose Update from. Members can choose themselves; administrators can choose active connected workspace users.
- Read the displayed Monday identity, especially when typing for someone else.
- Enter the progress text and choose Add Update to Monday.
If Nick enters Rick's update, the server uses Rick's stored credential. Monday records that credential's identity, and a short footer says the update was from Rick and entered via CanYouJust by Nick. Self-submitted updates keep the report clean without a proxy footer.
Failures do not change the plan
The selected connection must be able to access the linked configured job. A verified identity does not guarantee Monday grants write permission for every item. Permission or availability failure is shown safely. If Monday cannot confirm the result, check the item's recent updates before sending again; do not blindly retry a possibly accepted update.
Monday remains the authoritative update record. CanYouJust retains operation/result audit metadata, not a duplicate progress feed or credentials. No effort, dates, forecast history or scheduling inputs change. See Monday work and user administration.
