Scheduling / Team scheduling
Team scheduling determines when assigned resources have productive time. Working patterns, breaks and recorded non-working periods shape the windows that work can use.
Understand the model ↓See the worked example →Set each person’s working days and intervals. Breaks are gaps in productive availability. Personal non-working time, organisation closures, recorded bank holidays and recurring commitments reduce the time available.
Part-time work is simply a different calendar. Timeline display hours affect the view, not the capacity someone has. A schedulable team member and a login account are separate things.
A stage uses the calendar of its assigned resource. Independent contributors can use different windows; simultaneous work needs a common window across everyone involved. Adding another person does not make them interchangeable.
An ordinary resource can have full-day availability on selected days and still respect recorded calendar exceptions. A resource explicitly designated as an agent has continuous availability, including weekends and organisation closures.
Continuous does not mean unlimited: assigned work still consumes time, competes by priority and waits for prerequisites. Inactive resources have no capacity for new forecasts.
